The Naked Grace Missionaries Achieves Artistic Milestone with Release of Completed Album 'The Ceremony of the Keys'

LONDON, UK (June 21, 2024) – The Naked Grace Missionaries reaches a significant milestone in their artistic journey with the release of Transmissions, the third and final EP that completes their full album, The Ceremony of the Keys, on June 28. The Ceremony of the Keys is an evocative and contemplative musical voyage, segmented into three EPs. The first two EPs, Glossolalia and Sacred Heart Hotel, have already captivated audiences with their thematic depth and intricate compositions. Transmissions now completes this inventive odyssey, delivering the final pieces of this richly layered album. The third EP spans genres including dark acoustic and progressive folk. It merges dreamy and devotional elements with a politically aware and nostalgic undertone.

The Ceremony of the Keys explores themes of self-exploration and understanding one's own mind. It delves into the human experience of stumbling, learning, evolving, and occasionally failing. The band believes that navigating these moments can lead to personal growth and a brighter future. Despite the pervasive pain and challenges inherent in modern life, they advocate for stillness and self-reflection as paths to ease. They acknowledge the overwhelming noise of daily life and the constant barrage of societal pressures, encouraging solidarity and mutual support among people everywhere.

The project involved notable contributions from Jeff Knowler (mixing) and Stuart Betts (mastering) at Streaky Studios. The band draws inspiration from iconic artists such as Nirvana, Roy Orbison, Tina Turner, and Elton John. They hope that listeners will feel a sense of validation and recognition through this project. They believe that people share similar experiences, and they aim to reflect these shared feelings through their music. In contrast to music that prioritizes commercial success and fleeting popularity, they have crafted songs designed to evoke powerful memories and emotions, seeking to accompany their audience through every high and low.

Transmission will be available on all major streaming platforms June 28, marking the official completion of The Ceremony of the Keys album.

About The Naked Grace Missionaries:
“The Naked Grace Missionaries […] consists of two ethereally beautiful girls and one bearded guy singing acoustic songs inspired by The Manson Family and The Wicker Man…” - Broadly (Vice Media)

The Naked Grace Missionaries are a formidable acoustic trio delivering sermons as songs from the bible of popular and unpopular culture. Singing unheard protest songs from an unknown era, their sound is a dirt road to a tender dawn, a magick proclamation and a howl in desperate hours of the night.

Imagine late night acid soaked sing-a-longs with Charles Manson at Spahn Ranch, the final moments of The Wicker Man and the Heaven's Gate cult collide. Not afraid of the darkness, but reveling in the ecstatic, NGM is the sound of the pain of a dystopian future channeled through the unquiet ghosts of the past. The songs are crafted with the love of classic singer songwriter material we all adore from previous eras, but without a desire to replicate any particular band or style, just to be true to lush melody, challenging arrangements and intriguing concepts.

Recently signed to U.K. number one hit producer KDA’s label The 40 Records, powered by SONY’s The Orchard, NGM recently released their official EP, Glossolalia.
