Steinsdotter Explores Piano Dreamscapes with “Almost Near” featuring Pectus Grabus

LONDON, UK (February 19, 2024) – Steinsdotter is set to release the next addition to her full moon series with "Almost Near" featuring Pectus Grabus on February 24. Following the “Lone Wolf” package in January, the London-based avant-garde artist continues to honor her instincts by releasing a new project every full moon in 2024.

"Almost Near" is a captivating rendition that breathes new life into Steinsdotter's original track, previously featured on her mixtape Ginnungagap. The reimagined version, a piano interpretation by the renowned pianist Sarah Kershaw, promises listeners a cinematic and ethereal journey through its passionate piano dreamscapes.

Out during February’s Snow Moon, the single exemplifies the genre-bending musician’s ability to fluidly follow any artistic calling. Fans previously know her for dance club hits like Dancing In The Shower or colorful tracks like For The Kill featuring the renowned producer and artist KDA, but Steinsdotter continues to surprise listeners by always exploring the depths of her craft.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Alexis Ffrench, Joep Beving, and Nils Frahm, Steinsdotter hopes to immerse listeners in the rich tapestry of piano music culture. With Kershaw's poignant interpretation of the previously released song, Steinsdotter invites listeners to embark on a meditative journey, where the soothing melodies of the piano create an oasis of tranquility amidst the chaos of everyday life.

“Almost Near” will be available on all major streaming platforms on February 24.
