Lenox Hills Delivers The Perfect Summer Soundtrack on ‘Golden Town’ EP

The quartet meshes delectable guitar licks, honeyed vocals from frontman Luke Mullin, and 5 jam worthy tracks that tug at the heartstrings on this bombastic alt-rock EP.

NASHVILLE, TN (March 23, 2022) - Alternative rock band Lenox Hills is dishing out every reason to be dominating radio stations everywhere with the release of their EP Golden Town, out now. Within five tracks and just a little over 20 minutes, the quartet stumbles upon the keys to indie rock bliss, latch onto them, and never lose their grip. The EP is coated with serenity and unparalleled storytelling that explores their journeys through all kinds of relationships during the pandemic, kickstarting their music careers, and good vibes aplenty. Golden Town is brimming with resemblances to Briston Maroney, Spacey Jane, and Kings of Leon.

While the opening track “Girls ‘Round Here” is all gas and no brakes, pumping out an absurd amount of energy to the point that it’s almost palpable, more reflective tracks like “To Be Honest” are spliced in to keep listeners balanced, ensuring they feel the entire spectrum of emotions throughout their journey with Lenox Hills. There’s never a dull moment, only split seconds between each track to digest the heaps of splendor offered and prepare for the greatness ahead. It’s impossible to name the best part of Golden Town, but there’s one thing to keep in mind: Even though this is a collection of the boys’ stories, it feels like it was made just for you.

Golden Town came together in collaboration with producer Logan Matheny, who’s worked with the likes of Judah & The Lion, Chuck Berry, and Sam Hunt. Music videos are on the way for “Misnomer” and “I Feel It Coming On,” so look out for those as Lenox Hills gradually begins to take the reins on indie rock.

Stream Golden Town on all major streaming platforms now.

More about Lenox Hills:

Tennessee rock quartet -- with a raucous, yet dynamic demeanor -- Lenox Hills was founded in 2016 by brothers Luke (vocals, guitar) and Packy Mullin (guitar), along with Kyle Swenson (drums) and Kameron Dunn (bass). They released their debut EP, “The Stricken Young,” in 2017; a collection of 4 songs that dealt with love, ache and the particulars of youthful consequence. Since then, the band has released a second EP (“Names,” 2020) along with various singles, refining their dense rock instincts and further developing the core musical relationships within the band. The guitars of Luke and Packy Mullin have become simultaneously tighter and more comfortable with one another, while Dunn’s bass and Swenson’s drums have evolved together into an intricately layered and bombastic rhythmic section.
