NASHVILLE, TN (March 18, 2022) - Neo-soul up-and-comer Amber Ais is ready to steal hearts with her latest single “Ordinary,” out now. This is the follow-up to her 2021 single “Pen,” which earned her a feature in EARMILK. “Ordinary” serves as a preview of Ais’ impending debut LP, which will drop later this year, and its overwhelming beauty is telling of the brilliance to come. The track is a step away from Ais’ usual approach, as she usually never tackles the topic of love, and never has the term “feel-good” applied so well to a song. Listeners can hear a similar style to HAIM, Maisie Peters, and Tori Kelly.

The track is anything but what the title suggests, shining a light on Ais’ raw talent and oozing with harmonies reminiscent of Ariana Grande, shimmering production that mirrors the holiday spirit and utter happiness. Amber Ais is an indie pop singer/songwriter born and raised in Boston, MA. She became passionate about music at a very young age starting in grade school and in the church choir. In the fall of 2014, Amber Ais began her studies as a songwriting major at Berklee College of Music, where she graduated in 2018. There, she became serious about pursuing a career as an independent artist. 

As a self-proclaimed wholesome sad girl, she hopes that by being honest and relatable in her writing, she can remind others that their emotions are valid. Her cool tone is supported by a blend of contemporary R&B, pop production, and live instrumentation. Her musical and writing influences include John Mayer, Julia Michaels, and Tori Kelly. 

With a recent move to Nashville and three EPs under her belt, Amber Ais is currently working on releasing her first ever full length album in 2022.
