Steinsdotter Unleashes Her Inner Beast with First Single of Full Moon Series

LONDON, UK (January 25, 2023) – Fans of avant-garde pop witch Steinsdotter can look forward to a year of new music on every full moon, starting with “Lone Wolf,” out now - also known as the Wolf Moon. The release package includes 3 tracks, led by a collaboration with Agon Branza (producer of Steinsdotter’s “Nightshift,” “Come At Me,” and “Read My Hips”), followed by a spellbinding piano interpretation by Sarah Kershaw (touring member of the Steinsdotter band), and wrapped up with the live performance recording of “Lone Wolf” at the Relic Room in New York City.

Steinsdotter is no stranger to pursuing alternate paths in her music career. From blending countless genres into club hits to developing bold music videos, this London artist is following the whispers of her Norwegian viking ancestors in the new year. “I have a hunch in my bones that it’s more important than ever to reconnect with the mysterious rhythm of nature,” she says. “So I’ve decided to honor the invisible clockwork by releasing music every full moon in 2024.”

Fortunately for new fans, the “Lone Wolf” package includes a version to please every music taste. The original track is mysterious with intense electronic elements, evoking the feeling of being hunted - or being the hunter. The piano version of the single opens a new meaning of the title term, as Kershaw brilliantly unfolds the song into a relaxing environment for solitude. The live version, however, showcases the true experience that is Steinsdotter - with a live performance video releasing on January 25 as well. In a version that perfectly balances the former two, Steinsdotter’s voice delicately explains, “I’ve tried my best, but I’ve been bitten before.”

In addition to a string of releases every full moon in 2024, fans can look forward to Steinsdotter performance dates in Europe and the U.S. in the new year. Keep up to date with all things Steinsdotter and be there first to hear new music by following her online.

“I may have been known to howl at the moon in admiration for quite a few years now,” Steinsdotter remarks. “The moon already knows all of my music before I even create it.”
